Work to be done by Hope and Development:

August 2009 – June 2010

  1. Begin land acquisition process
  2. Finalize the Artisan Village™ Master Plan
  3. Begin networking with local government and potential NGO partners
  4. Begin fundraising for first three phases of project development
  5. Begin architectural planning and design process for IBACA

July 2010 – December 2010

  1. Select vocational programs and begin vocational training
  2. Build up vocational product market and begin sales to work teams
  3. Finalize partner organization alliances and village plans
  4. Begin work on necessary community infrastructure (water, roads, sewage)
  5. Continue development of IBACA

January 2011 – June 2011

  1. Continue Village infrastructure and Sports Complex
  2. Begin construction on the Artisan Village buildings, market place, landscaping of Village, artisan workshops and coffee shop
  3. Recruit community members

July 2011 – December 2011

  1. Complete construction on Sports Complex Phase 1 and Artisan Village
  2. Begin construction of town center, school, churches, health clinic and housing component

January 2012 – December 2012

  1. Continue construction already in progress
  2. Begin work on Agriculture training and Crop Co-op

January 2013 – December 2013

  1. Complete Artisan Village™ Project
