Project Roles and Responsibilities

1. Hope and Development Foundation – The Foundation will serve as the oversight committee for the project. The Foundation will select the participating organizations and will govern the coordination and integration of the projects. Hope and Development Foundation will be responsible for raising the necessary capital for the initial phasing of the project and will assist partner organizations in raising funds for their specific project operations.
2. IBACA – IBACA leadership will bring international attention to the project. IBACA will provide key educational and employment opportunities to community residents and the baseball complex will be a significant destination for national and international visitors.
3. Gran Pacifica Resort, Milagro del Mar Beach Club and Pacifica Golf Club (The Developers) – The Developers will be a close strategic partner to this project. The Village will work closely with the Developers and residents of the resorts in order to ensure sustainability. Many clients and visitors to the village will come from the Developer’s projects. The initial members of this community will be pulled from the Developer’s workforce. Additionally, the reputation of the Developers in the community will be used to gain the respect and trust of local community members.
4. Mayor’s Office of Villa El Carmen – The local government will be a key strategic partner in this venture. The Foundation will work closely with the mayor and his staff in order to ensure transparency throughout the project, gain support of the local community, and obtain necessary resources for the project’s success.
